Default Need help identifying part number for a GX470 "Shift Lock Cover"

Hey Guys,

Can anyone help me identify the correct part number for a GX470 "Shift Lock Cover". Im really hoping I won't need to purchase the entire plate just to replace a small 1" cover.

Thanks
grant

@mann777 Thanks for posting that...

Yep that's the diagram that I've been looking at. The part seems to be 58810 but all I need is the little cover which sadly doesn't have a part number. Does that mean I need to pick up the entire plate for $75?

Yes that is rite, you have to buy the whole plate, Anyways CL members are offered a good amount of discount at Sewell, you need to register to avail the discount. Also could you let me know what is the reason ur replacing the plate.

When I got my GX I noticed that the shift lock cover was missing. So I wanted to replace the cover but I don't really feel like spending $75 for a 1" by 1/2" cap.

...it's very misleading on this diagram - it's 33502R.
