overall i think it looks ok. i agree with the whole brake situation. your gonna need something. not sure what year your car is but they do sell bbk for the GX

as far as the wheels go, their decent. not my cup of tea though.

they do sell bbk but the overall diameter is the same so braking distance and power would be no different. trd makes a set for the 4runner which will bolt right up

Looks good those smoked headlamps. Bumper/Roof top paint job and those Lexus badges, Spare tire Cover.

Well, at least you can easily fit a 14 piston brake package in there.

theres more to brakes then the overall diameter of the rotors. a 2 piece rotor will get rid of heat quicker and also a larger piston caliper will decrease your braking distance.

I like the headlights. Are they the OEM units? Are you located in Hawaii?

I agree the brakes look silly now inside such a huge wheel. But why would the OP need to be concerned about stopping ability? It's an optical illusion that the brakes now look too small but there shouldn't be any change in overall braking ability. The brakes are the same size as before and will be just fine to stop the same truck of similar weight. The wheels are larger but I don't think that they added a significant amount of weight... it's probably a wash.

Looks nice. Its really different and it will definetely stand alone. With all the big wheel upgrades, I'm suprised there isnt many stock chrome GX wheels in the classified section. Plenty of every other Lexus wheels but never GX, Why?

Rotora makes a big brake kit for the GX. You might want to consider checking them out because the tiny rotors and calipers don't look so good.

Default I am guessing the owner is under 24 or so......

Not at all to my taste. Too, well, ghetto comes to mind, never mind the fact that handling, ride and performance are all degraded with so large a wheel. Better start saving for new kidneys. You made well need them
