You deactivate the curtain airbags when you're off-road and going over large rocks, ditches, inclines, so the airbags don't think the vehicle itself is rolling over.

I bought the Platinum 2015 - GX 460 11 months back ( in UAE -Dubai ) and it doesn't have the RSCA button, is it possible to add ?

I don't know about the 460 - I haven't been in one. I would look in the owner's manual to see what it says.

I deactivate mine all the time. But I go off road often. I was on two wheels a couple days ago. GX was rocking back and forth. Last thing you want to worry about is the air bags popping. It's comforting to have all the dash lit up. It's the RSCA, X (center diff light), VSC light and the Low Tire Pressure light. Thankfully the X center diff light also means your ABS won't activate and cause you to roll forward when you have a wheel in the air. I confirmed that this weekend.

Left steering wheel. By the 115V button. Near the door.

If you don't lean a lot on trails it's not a worry. I think its more a lawyer button. Never heard of any other maker having one. Of course I never researched it.

lol, the only time I drive my truck is off roading. I'll check when I get home, but I'm pretty sure it has side curtains.
