Default Aftermarket Bluetooth through Nav system

I'm looking to install a bluetooth device that will work through my Navagation system. Does anyone have suggestions? Also costs? I have a 2004 GX470.

Lexus dealers in Europe sold and installed Motorola Bluetooth kits before Bluetooth became standard over there but just about any Bluetooth kit can be installed on a GX or any car. The 04 GX wiring diagrams shows mute connections on the head unit and amp you could attach a phone kit to so it automatically mutes your radio during a phone call -- important so you don't miss incoming calls.

Or, Parrot (and probably others) has interface harnesses for the GX for both its phone kits and those from other companies: http://www.quickconnectproducts.com/Find/find.php

If you don't use an interface harness, the only connections you will need to find on your GX are power, ground, mute and speaker. Some phone kits require both a constant and a switched power connection. On most vehicles, it is easy to mount a small speaker under the dash so you don't have to tap into a door speaker. Some interface harnesses will make the phone call audio to play through one or more door speakers with no further work.

I need to be installing a Bluetooth kit in my wife's car for her new "work" Blackberry. I'll probably leave the old cradle based phone kit for her personal phone in place and "piggyback" all the connections (mute, power, ground) for the new Bluetooth kit onto its connections but use a separate speaker.

There are lots of cool Bluetooth kits and many of them work far better than the Bluetooth built into the newer Lexus nav and radio systems. Installation is fairly easy although it can require some serious interior disassembly to route wires to put the the microphone and control unit were you want.
