Thinking about picking up a USED 07' GX
Might pick up a used 07 GX later this year as a camping/ski/cargo vehicle. How is maintenance on the GX? Are there any specific problems for 2007 or any at all for this model? Any input would help, thanks!

Great truck for camping and skiing trips. I never ran out of space, whether going skiing for a week or going camping and scuba diving. Easily fits 3 adults and 1 child, all supplies for 1 week of camping and 2 sets of scuba gear (with tanks). It's a go anywhere and do anything vehicle - it's a rugged 4x4 body-on-frame truck wrapped in the very nice and luxurious package with excellent on-road manners.
As for maintenance, just make sure to follow the schedule. Every once in a while you would read about a frozen caliper, ac problem (mostly stale air complaints, need to replace the cabin filter), etc... I would say that major problems are fairly rare, and the rate is much lower compared to other (non-Toyota) vehicles.
Important to remember that the V8 has a timing belt that you may want to replace at 80000 mi.
