are there direct "plug and play" wheels that will bold right up without spacers or speedometer error or wheel bearing damage, etc.?

also, if i stay with stock '04 wheels what are a good choice for a somewhat aggressive tire tread and size? (how do 31" tires correlate to the stock size, etc.? 32"?)

I just picked up a set of wheels from an '03 4Runner sport. (The machined finish 6 spoke wheels.)

They're on the truck, I just didn't take any pics yet.

One thing to note: The FJ Cruiser and the Sequoia wheels are a different offset -- 15mm vs 25mm for the GX and 4runner. This will push the wheels out 10mm. This might get you some extra clearance for the bigger tires...

Personally, i'm running the 4runner Limited 18s, and love them.

Does Lexus offer any 20" or larger factory wheels that will fit our GX? Maybe something off the LX series?

No, unfortunately, the LX has a 5 lug wheel and the GX has a 6 lug wheel.

If you want a factory 20" wheel, you may want to look at the 20" wheel on the 4Runner Limited.

OMG those are the ugliest 20" wheels I have ever seen. I had my GX wheels refinished for $300 and they look great(Of course Lexus should have paid for it) Ebay has an exchange program for factory chromed wheels. It's like $600 and your old blistered wheels for new chrome ones.

Update; Just bought a nice set of 17" Chrome OEM Toyota Tundra/Sequoia wheels for $450 shipped off of Ebay. Very nice but used. They are the ones on the 07 Tundra that look like the GX's 5 split star. IMO I like the look of these better although very similar(Which I liked).

I will post pictures as soon as I get them from Fedex. The wheels are off of a 06 Tundra not 07 as i previously stated. I was looking for a reasonably priced 17" OEM in chrome but everything was expensive and pretty rare. Found plenty of the Tundra/sequoia ones that almost look like the GX's. Great alternative and way more reasonable. I also bought some 265/70/17's to mount- Hope they fit without rubbing(they shouldn't). Only thing is the chrome centercaps have no logo. I'm searching around for 2 1/2 Lexus "L" logos to glue on but am having a hard time finding them. Will post pictures as soon as I get them on.

My factory silver GX wheels will be up for sale with michelin cross-terrains appx. 7/32's tread left when i get my other wheels. Local pick-up only. They were refinished when I bought the truck 11 months ago and still look nice compared to the pitted ones i see around. Looking for $500 for the entire set up. Will post pictures soon.
