going back and looking at my install i would have to say thank you to:

going back to look at the op double din install... Eclipse AVN5500
that is a motorized slide down system just like mine but yet op never mentioned an issue of the face coming into contact with bezel din - mine is a detachable face plate and i thicker so that could be why i had to do a mod to the bezel din to get rid of the contact issue

well i added to the diagram label to clarify how the four (five) wires will be connected:
the brake shift control (ie safety 5th) wire should be grounded either to a bolt on radio or the ground wire to bypass the emergency brake which won't wont work anyway so you must ground the brake wire regardless whether you want the safety feature or not... gl

glad i did this write up. at least someone is using it for reference and improving the write up..
i apologize for the lazy style documentation. i didn't think anyone would be interested in it. i just documented it so i can go back and see what i did.

Please help
I have a 2004 GX470 with the stock nav and need a picture of the climate control wiring harness on a non-nav gx. I recently purchased a used climate control unit but the plugs in the back are not the same. Can someone please help me out?
