What is the latest/most recent quote and/or contact for getting 7yr/100K extended warranty on the GX?

Anyone get any good deals...searched all the forum, went through a ton of related threads...got some info but it is quite dated.

Did talk to Troy from Toyota of Greenfield AND Toby from Toyota in Louisiana but wanted to know if anyone has other contacts for quotes?

My GX is coming up on 40K miles, IIUC, I have to purchase the extended warranty before I hit 48K, 4 years, correct?

Last saturday,I went to LI to pick up a 2005 CPO RX330.While there,of course we were inroduced to a salesman that wanted to sell us an extended warranty for that vehicle. I also asked him about an extended warranty for a 2006 GS300 as our factory warranty will end in February.Both plans were Platinum which covered everything except wear and tear. They also offered 0% financing on the plan. If you never put in a claim,you get all your money back.

Both plans were $2600 and if we bought both,he dropped it to $2500...BFD! We bought neither.

He aslo stated that if you buy a used car that was not CPO,you can't buy the extended warranty later if it has over 50k on it. I do not know if thats true and I did not argue because neither of our cars fall into that catagory.

I need to research and figure out by the end of January what dealer I will buy the extended warranty from.

bought one for my gx470 2005 last month 7year/ 100k miles platinum lexus 0 deductible for 2030. shop around. it helps. u can even buy this warranty from a toyota dealer. u have to buy the warranty before 4years or 50k miles.
