03 GX470 Key Works but not Remote Lock
I open the key up and saw a battery. Can I simply replace the battery? Is there any reprogramming that would need to be done.
FWIW, the key still works manually, just the remote lock and unlock does not work.

If the battery charge drops too low for the remote to function you can replace the battery and the remote will work without any reprogramming, etc. Of course if there are other problems preventing your remote lock/unlock from working then replacing the battery won't fix them.

i would recommend going to a reputable battery dealer or the Lexus dealer we have had a few customers go to places like walmart and not work due to faulty battery or wrong one.
