It sorta reminds me of a black rx. Lol, they don't even look the same. Regardless, it looks good on a black gx and gives it a unique look.

I like the clean look. In fact, I especially like that it does not have a distinguishing trim. To each their own.
Dangit, now I've got ANOTHER thing I need to do to my GX. Well, I guess it's not so bad since I can count on one hand the Aftermarket options we have as GX drivers...

Here are the tail lights installed. The fitment wasn't great, there was rubber with the hinged part (RH) of the tailgate due to the tail light housing not being fully flushed compared to the OEM. I had to dremel a hole in the side of the housing to clean the swing of the tailgate

All in all, not bad for the $55 spent to give my GX a unique look.

Forgive my dirty truck

Question Middle light on your Altezza's work?

Hey -- I just picked up the exact same set of Altezza's last week online for my '06 Black GX (by the way, those look great on your ride!). I've run into a few problems and wanted to see if you ran into any of the same:

1) The left-hand tail light wasn't drilled properly (the bottom screw doesn't line up no matter how much I 'rig' it). I could re-drill the plastic, but lots of work to get these to fit proper.

2) The middle light is wired, but it doesn't line up with anything inside the connector on the car side... so no matter what, it won't ever light up. Did you do any custom wiring to use the middle light? Or did you just end up putting a clear bulb in there & leaving it 'dead'?

3) I had the same problem with the rh tail light not clearing when the tailgate was opened... did you 'cut out' a chunk of the plastic casing so the door would clear? Could you email me a pic?

4) I put LED's in the top light for blinkers... but they blink way too fast. I learned online you need to put resisters in as well. Did you do this? If so, how did it turn out?

Thx.

I did enlarge a screw hole for the right side housing

2) The middle light is wired, but it doesn't line up with anything inside the connector on the car side... so no matter what, it won't ever light up. Did you do any custom wiring to use the middle light? Or did you just end up putting a clear bulb in there & leaving it 'dead'?
I had to tap the center position to the LED brake light wire

3) I had the same problem with the rh tail light not clearing when the tailgate was opened... did you 'cut out' a chunk of the plastic casing so the door would clear? Could you email me a pic?
Yes, I dremel off a rectangular piece of the housing so it'll clear the hinging action of the tailgate

4) I put LED's in the top light for blinkers... but they blink way too fast. I learned online you need to put resisters in as well. Did you do this? If so, how did it turn out?
Yes, I had to add a load equalizer (resistor) in parallel to the signal bulb, Load Equalizers

For your load equalizer, what size (100, 15-25, 6, or 3 ohm) and wattage (5, 25, or 50 watts) did you use?
Thank you.

Thank you.

I used the 6 ohm 50W equalizer on each of the rear LED turn signal bulbs.

If you decide to do the front turn signals with LEDs also then you'll need a pair of the 3 ohm 50W equalizers instead.

Looks very nice and tempting, especially when I have a black gx as well. And for $55, what a deal...
