Rear seats (middle row, not 3rd) on my 2004 GX470 do not fold flat - shouldn't they fold all the way down? What am I doing wrong?

The middle seats do not fold flat - the seat back folds down agaisnt the seat cushion, and then the folded back/cushion tips forward, up against the back of the front seats. Did you get your seat to fold like this? If so, that's all there is. The floor that is exposed is then kind of flat, but there's no way to do more without removing the middle seats all together.

Thanks, yes I did that - I just assumed that there was some other way to make them go completely flat like 2 other SUVs that I've had. It really limits what you can do (or haul) if the seats don't go flat. Thanks again for the reply.
