Default What Color GX do YOU own?

I'm just curious what colors are pretty well known. I've been observing that most GX470s I see are Blizzard Pearl. I haven't seen a Natuical Blue GX on the road yet.

Default hey

suprised to see that black is the most popular color.. when i was buying mine.. my dealer was saying that black is difficult to clean and thats one reason.. people don't buy it..
but when a black car is cleaned and polished i think its prolly the most rewarding.

true. that's why I never chose Black. First of all, you gotta clean it like every 2 days (if your really picky of keeping your car looking clean) and second, since the GX is so tall, it's difficult to clean it, especially if you have to clean it every other day. Also, when summer rolls around, boy, you'd be working the a/c compressor's *** off trying to cool off the vehicle. It absorbs too much heat!

I don't balme others for choosing Black. I think it looks the best...kinda keeps the rear end from looking so tall since black is a minimizing tone. I chose Silver because 1) I found an 05 used that had barely been driven...still smelled like a new Lexus 2)easy to maintain. But when black is clean, definitely looks superb.

Titanium Metallic (essentially a true silver metallic) was available in 2006, but silver pine wasn't. I think TM might have been new this year (a very popular color for all brands of SUVs the last year of so).

I don't know if silver pine has any green in it. Green was not offered in 2006, although it was extremely popular about 10 years ago for SUVs (the Ford Explorer had 4 or 5 variations of it). I guess these things run in cycles.

RX900 - I have seen one or two nautical blues on the road. That was the color we test drove at the dealer and although we have owned several blue cars we really didn't like that one. From what we could see the dealer had trouble seliing that one - seems few people liked the color around here.

Cypress Pearl is sort of a metallic OD green... if such a color can exist... was not my first choice, but since my wife liked it and it looked like it wouldn't show dirt as much, we went with it...

Ash Blue with charcoal interior. It's the fastest, best handling, and smoothest riding of all the colors, plus it has the most interior space and gets the best fuel mileage.

I had a black GX being brought to Atlanta when I saw a Nautical Blue GX with everything I wanted, ML/Nav, rear air and hitch. I liked how it looked black from some angles and blue from others, so I bought it. My last 5 vehicles have been black and yes they require a lot more effort to keep shiny, but I like rubbing on Zymol. A good friend was in my house looking out the day I first drove the Nautical Blue up my driveway and he turned to my wife and commented "At least he bought black" He is a German car guy. With all the black GX's in north Atlanta, I'm glad I switched.
