I want to buy the GX with the Sport Package ...
The dealer told me it wasn't available ... that they didn't make it anymore.
He even told me this story about how in russia and etc. they use to mount surface to air missiles and sub-machine guns! becuase of the KDSS
I called lexus usa, and they told me it is still available as an option!

So i guess it isn't available in my area... but i really want it.
Any suggestions on how i should go about getting it?!

And

Is it really worth it now? i don't want to get it and then have it remodelled for 08

The sport Pkg is still available for 07 , but now only on Black, Ash Blue, and Silver cars.

It may not be brought in where you live , but your dealer should be able to special order it (3-4 month wait). Alot of dealers don't like to or won't special order a car, but it can be done..

I special ordered one , It should be here next month..

A dealer can do a "locate" or print the build schedule for your region. If there is a Sport Pkg truck listed, it will also show the color and option codes.

You should think about going out of state to get one, If your dealer doesn't want to play..............

Hmm... i don't have any plans to go to california as of yet .... but what would that entail if i am interested? which i am very interested in the sport package!

You should try to find another dealership, I just got one of only two out in the country right now of the 2007 Black/Sport Package GX's and I was told they were not going to make that many of this color combo. Mine came from Portland Oregon to Colorado and my friend did a nationwide locate. He said the other one was in Connecticut so you should try to have the dealer do a locate for you. You won't be dissappointed.........it is one sweet ride!!!

He told you it wasn't available, so he doesn't even deserve your business....my friend was able to do the locate and find me exactly what I was looking for......and yes, it is the Black with the Dark Grey interior and the Graphite detail. After all you are looking for an "07" you should be able to get what you want!! I was patient during the locate process, it did take 90 days to find, but I just got it on Saturday!! So I think you should go to another dealer if you have one in N.J. have them do the locate and tell them that a person from Colorado did a locate on the one you want and was told that there were only two.........one in Connecticut and one in Oregon and I had the one from Oregon shipped to Colorado already, so the one from Connecticut should be available. I will see if I can find out more info for you from my contact at my Lexus Dealer.............I will also post some pics just as soon as I can..........

Team... We have this same story every year.

I ordered an 05 with KDDS option. Didn't want the sports package of dark wood or rear DVD... thus I had to do a special order. I'm in Chicago.... I got the same story from local dealers... Not available or believe it or not - a $5k NON-REFUNDABLE deposit....

North Shore Lexus in Milwaukee worked with me completely over the phone and email.... $500 refundable deposit... ordered exactly as I wanted.
Yes, it did take 3 months.... I ordered in December, salesman kept me in the loop during whole process... He even picked us up from train station on delivery date... first time that I physically met him.

Very pleased with truck and process... yes, 3 months sucks.. but I got what we wanted.
