Different Temperatures from Drivers Side vs. Passenger Side?
Has anyone noticed the temperature of the air coming from the drivers side vents is warmer than the temperature of the passenger side vents when the settings for each are the same, for example both are set to 75 and Dual is not selected and AC is on? I noticed this yesterday and again this morning, each time the GX was garaged and not in the sun so it was not because one side of the car was hotter because the sun was more on that side etc... I would say the temperature difference was a few degrees but I did not have a thermometer to tell but you could feel a difference. I also noticed that with the very hot summer here in St. Louis I had to keep the temperature setting lower than any of the previous summers but I thought it was just because of the extreme heat, but now I am wondering if there is something else wrong. Any thoughts?

Watch out because the laser thermometers don't work well on HVAC ducts in autos. I tried it on my 06 GX a number of times and with the ac set to the coldest temperature on a 94 degree day. It gave a reading as low as 10 degrees. Now I know the AC is nice and cold, but its not that cold. When I then checked it with a normal digital thermometer, it read around 42 degrees which is pretty cold for R134a refrigerant.

Thanks for checking CV! I think something is wrong with mine so I will have the dealer look at it the next time I am in. With the AC off the temp is the same on both sides so it must be something with the AC.
