Hey gang:

Anyway, I've owned an 03 4Runner that had the problems with the clunk and etc. Also, had some problems with the sunroof rattling. I haven't heard anything relating to the GX having that problem but I noticed that it was rattling a little bit today on the way to work. Has this happened to anyone else here? TSB??

I have had the sunroof rattle but the dealer has fixed it. They have "fixed" it about 3 times and so far it has been fine. Good luck with getting it fixed! As far as I know there is no TSB for it.

For a little more clearity, does it rattle only when open and not when closed ?
How about when "tilted towards the front" ?

Yep, mine rattles as well. Unfortunately I don't even trust my dealer enough to let them inflate my tires so getting it fixed is not on the list...lol. When I hear it I either 1. Turn the music up louder or 2. close the sunroof shade and the rattle sound diminishes.

I have what might be the same noise, but mine sounds less like a rattle and more like a squeak. I think it sounds like when the car incurs torsion from turning or a bump, the frame around the glass twists slightly, causing the rubber seal to "squeak." I don't know if it is the same problem or not though...

I end up closing my shade too! Shouldn't have to do that in a $60K ride IMHO
