Picked up a mint 04' 470 two months ago. Did the first oil change today it was so easy. Even removing the skid plate was easy. My wife has an 08' Sequia with 290K miles. I've done every oil change on that truck since new. Its a pain compared to the 470. Also hate the cartridges on her truck. Nice to have a canister filter.
I love this truck. Only issue is the rear heat is not blowing warm. The controller has a button that says rear cool. Is that just for A/C?

Yes that is rear AC

Ya, rear heat is via the floor vents under the 1st row seats only, the rear AC is cool only and blows through the vents along the roof.

As the owner of 2 GX470’s and a Tundra with the same 5.7. V8 that you have, I agree. The 5.7 oil change is s messy job. The oil comes gushing out like a waterfall when you pull the drain plug. And I don’t like the cartridge oil filter either. Makes a good sized mess on my driveway.
