Default ARGGHH!! Need help on Sirius install!!

OK-- I started the Sirius install and everything went well--up to the point that I actually got a look at the harnesses involved. Disassembly was easy and all, but the harnesses just don't match-at least not that I can tell. I am bummed!!
First, a bit of background-- I have an '06 GX with Nav/ML and all options but RSES.

The dealer gave me the following:
Sirius radio (standard for all install kits)
Install kit for an EX: # PTS31 33050

The harness has a 14 space connector w/ 10 pins on one end- this obviously goes into the Sirius receiver. On the other end I have 4 connectors. @ are small 12 pin units, one M & one F. The other is a much larger 16 pin connector and also has a M & F.

My radio does not have anything even resembling a 16 large pin connector. The 12 pin unit matches well enough, however. I called the dealer, who says I have a "non-ML" ES kit. He looked at the ML kit, part # 33051 and says it has only the 2 M+F 12 pin connectors on one end and the Sirius connector on the other.

Bottom line: I am majorly stumped-- Tried hooking up just the 12 pin connector and ignoring the 16 pin one, but nothing happened. Pushed the AM button several times and just got.....AM. FM was limited to its usual 1 & 2.

So, what did I do wrong? Do I have the wring harness? Anything else you can think of??

Thanks

Jim

Sorry for not replying to your email. You do need the kit for the ML/NAV sound system. I also used the ES330 kit (a ML/NAV kit) for my 2005 GX470 and it was a simple plug and play. I will take some photo tonight regarding the location of the reciever and the antenna. Good luck.
