Does anyone else have this problem? On my 06 GX the dvd volume needs to be turned up a lot just to barely hear it, but if you forget to lower the volume before changing back to the radio/cd, its soooo loud that it almost blows the speakers.

Congratulations you have just discovered what many of us have realized for a while. When something is a problem that requires extensive effort to correct and there is no significant revenue to justify the corrections, companies often simply "leave it as is" until enough people gripe and moan about it. When only a few do, nothing gets done about it and the flaw essentially gets re-catagorized as a "feature" that will Never get fixed. This is one of those.....unfortunately

Hi Troy,

Welcome to the Forum and one of my Pet Peeves about the GX... This is almost 2nd nature for me now EVERYTIME I turn on DVD player, I must remeber to LOWER volume when switching to other sources..

BTW, this is also true for the CD-Changer as well...
