It surely is all very strange. But you are asking in the wrong place for legal advice (ask a lawyer).

However, I would ask them to remove a tire (and sensor) and show it to you, not just take their word for it.

If it is clear upon inspection that something has been put in the tires, there nothing you are going to get from Lexus. Lexus would not have put in there (besides damaging the sensors, surely they would have charged you for the "service"). If you didn't put it there, then someone else did. Are you positive a well meaning "father-in-law" or someone did not do this for you?

If it is not clear from the inspection that truly a substance has been added, then you should continue up the dispute resolution process within Lexus.

BTW, I don't believe any lawyer will touch this with a total "damage" of $1000 max.

Angleslex:
The link you provided doesn't work. Would you give me more details on 'how to turn off the tire sensor" and ground the wire.

Thanks so much for your offer.

Angleslex:
After cutting this #6 sensor wire, how do you "ground the wire"?

After you cut the wire you grab the one thats going to the bulb (not the one from the box ) and just connected to ground by just getting another piece of wire with a connector to tap into the metal of the truck.
