Default scratched rim

ok. this has got to be the dealer's fault. when i car washed my GX lately, I noticed there was a scratch on my front left rim. Now i tried to rub it off, and it felt like a real scratch. So i took it to the dealer and showed it to them (and as i predicted ) but they said it wasn't their fault. Well mr dealer, what are the chances of me scratching up my rim, especially if the scratch is a letter "F" and "L". The "F" scratch is backwards and the "L" isn't a full L. what is going on?? they should replace it, or something!!!!!!!

sorry for the horrible photo. this was taken with my cell phone. the "F'" is easy to notice, the "L" isn't.. but u get the point

Did you get your tires rotated at the dealer recently? If so looks like some idiot started with a uniball pin to mark Front Left.

If so, I would go back and calmly explain your theory and ask for his help on what can be done. Perhaps they could polish it out, easily, etc.

Since there is no proof, you will depend on their largesse. If you start confrontational, they will just back up and cross their arms (human nature).

yea, i did a conservative approach. also, i just had my tires rotated like 3k miles ago. so it's gotta be all their fault!!! They already "washed their hands" today as they don't want to do anything. SAd thing about this is, the guy who scratched it up didn't even know how to make an "F" . it's backwards!!!!!!
