Beware of accidental 4W lockup button being depressed
Joel88, I noticed in one pic where you have a small box of tissue in front of the shift lever.
Just to give you heads up on something that has caught my wife twice, when she placed items up there. It accidentally depressed the 4W trans lock button (next to the seat heat). She calls from the cell phone and tells me somethings wrong with the Lexus as it is driving and turning funny (this was on dry pavement of course). Scared me the first time.
Anyway, HORRIBLE place for a button that 99.9999% of Lexus GX470 owners will NEVER activate. And very easy to activate if something is placed on it.

You could ask the dealership to swap the 115V switch and Center Diff Lock switch. It requires only simple wiring re-routing and pop out the switches.
You could do it yourself if so inclined.
The 115V has it's own "on" light so you can see if it is accidentally turned on, and less cruicual if it is accidentally activated. Makes more sense having the 115V switch by the outlet anyway.
The Center Diff Lock would be on the dash by the defrost button, thus insuring no accidental engagement.

What does it take to pop out a button? Do you push from the back? How do you get to the back for the buttons down on the horizontal console?
