Driving Mode?
Hi all,
hope you guys can help me with a couple of questions. For normal/everyday driving conditions, am I suppose to put the 4WD to "H" with the center differential lock off?
Secondly, I am planning to drive to Las Vegas this weekend and would like to use the Gx (4 hrs. drive) as transportation. I figure why not travel in comfort I know that there is no "break-in period, but will there be any unwanted side effects later on?
Thank you and any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

ShaggyRogers,
I bought my car in a city 3 hour drive away. I specifically ask the lexus dealership about breakin for the new 2005 GX. The mechanics at lexus told me to make sure not to drive at one constant speed for too long during the 3 hour drive home, but to drive at variable speeds. They said not to worry about staying below 60 mph. One other thing is go easy on the accelaration and braking. Also, your drive setting for everyday driving is correct. Good luck in Vegas...you can lose your shirt, but don't lose everything, especially your new GX
