third row seat belt cover
I 'm wondering if anyone else is having the same problem i am having with my GX470. The third row selt belt restraint cover ( in the ceiling of the car - in the back ) keeps popping out. We have been to the dealership and had it replaced ( it took them a month to get the right part - and now we are going back again to have it replaced.
Usually the rear ( 3rd row ) seats are retracted and we don't use the belt - but its a real pain and looks bad when we open up the rear door.
Otherwise, its our dream SUV.

We have had ours for about 4 months now and love the truck. We have our 3rd row seats secured up in its holder for most of the time. We have used the 3rd row seat, maybe twice at most. But when its secured up there, it never pops out or rattles. Are you sure your strap is tight when you prop the seat back up. The reason I am saying that is there is a way to tighten the strap. I will look closer to mine when I get home tonight.
We just don’t bother to remove the seats. Our back glass is tinted and you cannot tell by looking from outside. The only thing that sometimes bothers me is the loss of space but again it has not become an issue with us.

we have had it in about 4 times or more for the problem. they keep ordering a new part, and it keeps popping out. The last time they tried to use something else to keep it in place ( maybe a *glue* - not sure ! ) but I can tell it is going to pop out again.
At this point we don't really give it much thought because it seems insolveable and too much time spent on it already.....
