Default Help with brushguard

I want to put a brushguard with skid plates on the front of my GX. Anyone have any recommendations on what brand to put on?

No reccomendations -just a concern. Lexus does not approve of anny brush guards for the GX. The dealer says it voids the warranty

Default Brush Guards

Most dealers will tell you that aftermarket stuff voids the warranty, but it isn't true in alot of cases.

The bigger concern I would have with brushguards is the potential they have for interfereing with/delaying the deployment of an airbag - now I know that most brush guards are decorative and not "that" heavy duty, but in a wreck it is entirely possible that it could cause premature deployment or late deployment of an airbag resulting in additional injuries to the head face and neck.

That being said it was one of the first things I added to my Expedition - I haven't found one for the GX that I really liked so I never did it. But I probably would have if I found one that worked well and suited my tastes.

Anyone looked into the Waag guard? I can't find a picture of the guard on the vehicle to tell if I like it though.

Default Waag front runner guard

Waag has some pics of it if you go to www.waag.com it comes in the black power coat color and then they have a couple of colors like silver and a grey color sadly none that match our cars. I am planning on ordering one and having it painted the color of my car. It looks as if they mail tail light guards and a rear bumper guard as well. Good luck with you search

Yeah, I ordered a black powder coat brushguard, tail lamp guards, and a rear bumper guard about a month ago. I should have them all on within a two weeks. I guess that I will be the first person to upload some pics.

Default Stainless steel WAAG - RX

Anyone have the stainless steel WAAG front grille guard installed on their RX 300? If so, could you provide pictures or email them to me at vpalacio@gmail.com

All I've seen are the popular black front and rear guards. After reading the thread on the Xenon HIDs, I started researching the WAAG guards.

Anyone?

Here is a picture of my GX with the Waag grill guard. I like it. I am the only one I have seen in my area with one.

Just to get this topic going again, does anyone know ESP. if you are in New York Area... if anyone is selling T&H Eurotech (or similar) grill guard. It looks like this:

It does NOT have the LIGHT bar... I just want a straight one pipe low look

That is exactly what I need... where did you get it?

I can get the one WITH the lightbar for $130... how much is this, is there a retail store in BK for example?

thanks
