Be Patient!
Yeah Kash and Fusion400!
Unfortunately, We have to wait until the mid April for the 6000k.
I ordered two weeks, but for some reason my mail box had some problems.
So, Steve could only contact me few days ago.
Anyway, He also told me that if he gets tons of orders, our 6k will ship out earlier.

Hey Adil
You headlight does look between Yellow and White.
I think if you sit inside your GX and look carefully at night, the light output should be yellow.

Thats my whole point... I don't see any thing yellow. When i switch it on at night, it gives me white light.. no signs of yellowness... but its not as bright as i would like it to be... and its definately not the same white light which you get out of new RX330's ... my friend has one and i find Rx 330's light is more detailed on the road. its more spread out i think.

Oh, really!
Hey Adil,
You might as well open the hook to check the light bulb.
That's the only way I can think of to prove whether is regular bulb or something else.
If you DO want to find out, check the passanger side, it is easlier to access to the bulbs.

Go to the passenger side and pull out the bulb like Dave said if it looks like a small round bulb instead of a long skiny bulb like in the schematics its a Halogen. I have to admit your lights look really white in the pics but Its impossible to think Lexus put HID lights into the GX without it being a newer model year like a 2005 or 2006 model. All 2004 models did not come with HIDs, like I said check your window sticker it will tell you if you had Xenons and there would be an additional charge. What build number is your truck 9700c, E, ?
If you can't tell the difference between HIDS and Halogens while they are on your car I would save your money and stay happy, spend the money on something else for the GX.

Xenondepot
Xenondepot is pretty good when it comes to open communication and estimating when the kits come in. Steve would never tell you he has them in stock and make you wait just so you will pay him first. His estimates on shipping times are usually dead on. Keep e-mailing with questions and concerns and he will always answer them. I went back to Acuramdx.org and those guys are definitely buying up our supplies of 6000k H11 kits I was very lucky to get one before he ran out. I know he has 4300k kits avaliable.

Well it is possible that the divisions outside North America might have gotten the hid bulbs...as one person stated the LX in Roo land has them..why not?
Umm never mind..realized we had some folks in Canada here posting...I stand corrected

Rhode Island?
Anyway, the GX in North America is different than the rest of the world.
It was designed differently for Lexus in the U.S. and Canada only.
But in Japan, GX called Pardo. (Some countries in Asia, Europe and Africa also called GX as Pardo too)
The only one big difference between Toyota Pardo and Lexus GX is the headlamp.
And both production lines do not offer any HIDs.
You never know, they might add it in the future. But right now, NO!
That's why we have this Forum to talk about H11 HID.

Thanx all of you
Hey Guys
Thanks for all ur opinions and help... i finally took my GX to MIDAS here and the guy opened my bulb and said it doesn't look like a halogen one... he said its a performance bulb. NOT Halogen and NOT XENON.
Strange that howcome its different then any other GX"s.
Called the Dealership here and they said they have no idea but they are sure the GX/LX doesn't come with HID's Yet.
As far as getting HID's are concerned, i guess i will have to sit in a car which has an HID system and then sit in my car rite away.
Tony how do i check which build is my lexus. i got it in jan 2004. Pls advice... thanks

Funny!
Well Adil, I think you are the only special case.
It's rare to see something like this. I thought most of the GX should be the same.
Like Tony said, you could just keep it wothout changing the bulb.
But if you want better night view, you'd better to get the HID.

Adil check the window sticker on the upper right hand corner it will tell you if you have 9700 e , c etc. Most likely if you bought a 04 it is a 9700e

HiBeams
I'm considering myself really lucky to get the Xenon kit from Xeonon depot in just 1 week (and also lucky to be driving such a great car). There are times when I can't wait to drive at night because the 6000k kit looks very stiking at night, more so than other OEM-equiped cars. As for switching out the hi-beams for an aftermarket "hyper white" bulb: I don't know..... I tried that one time on my ES300 and the damn thing burnt the connector. But everytime I turn on the hi-beams they look like a jaundiced yellow. I'm open to the Razo aftermarkets, or any other reputable bulb.... perhaps some PIAA's. Maybe I'll even switch out the fog lights if there's a good replacement to make it match the blue-white color of the light. Oh, and btw, I never had to reset my windows when I installed my kit... I never had to disconnect the battery. I just attached the (+) positive connector from the kit to a screw base on the car-battery connector. The wire and fuse was tucked in a crevice between the battery and car. Much luck to you guys and your HID odyssey.
