The fuse Im taking about is the one right in line before you hook it up to the pos batt terminal. I have the Extreme HID kit.

sorry for bringing old thread back to life, but my 2006 gx470 has the dead-bulb detector on blinkers and brake lights, thus a LED bulb that is less than 1A causes dash light. is this the same issue for the HID conversion?

Hi - no, you will not encounter this issue with an HID kit.

i suspect you mean to say, not for this specific vehicle? i am not sure of all the others but there are others (mopar, others, maybe lexus) that need canbus adapter for HID kit to work correctly.

Correct - I was responding your question regarding a Lexus GX460.

i got my "XD Extreme" kit, came with wrong stuff. i got on with XD chat guy, he said it did not have the upgrade bulbs, and to email the customer service folks with a pic. i did that ~6hrs ago and still no reply.

i like the way the kit looks out of the box, but geez, getting the right stuff doesnt seem to be a done deal, and customer service is slow to respond. i hope the kit actually functions to the way XD says it does.

Taco, sorry to hear about that. If this hasn't been resolved, send us a PM with your order number so we can get this taken care of for you.
