Frozen rear caliper
I'm browsing on Rockauto for calipers and am unsure on which part to get since I need a driver side rear caliper. There's a few different brands. Is here a difference between the ones available - Nastra/ A1 Cardone/ Centric/ Beck Arnley? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like either one I would be good with, except they rust...*womp, womp* lol
I intended on coloring my engine bay covers so looks like I have another DIY lol. Is there a specific brand to use when painting the calipers?

Using heat to heat the outside of the pin helps release the seize, hitting it with a hammer knocks it loose. But you must take off the calipers from the car to do this.

The hex bolts hold the caliper holding bracket, the caliper floats on a lower pin. That pin usually seizes up not allowing the caliper to return to its starting position.

edit: I see what you mean now, It was really easy taking it out from my new calipers but from the old ones they just wouldn't budge! i tried hammering and everything!

ahh i get what you mean now... So once the pin is removed since the bottom one isnt accessible unless you remove the caliper from the caliper bracket, how do you unseize it? do you just re-lube it and put it back in?
edit: I see what you mean now, It was really easy taking it out from my new calipers but from the old ones they just wouldn't budge! i tried hammering and everything!

To free up the caliper, youll will need to spray wd40 into the pin area and let it soak for 20-30, then with a propane torch, heat the caliper side of the pin housing for about 3-5min. Then grab a hammer and start hammering in the pin to drive in further into the caliper and then spray wd40. Then flip the caliper so you can strike the bracket to drive the pin out.
Once the pin is removed grab a scuff pad or fine sand paper and clean off the pin and the shaft, add grease and your done.
