Default LED D4S Headlights Installed

Well, I finally got to install my D4S headlights. I was just tired of HIDs, I've been through a couple bulbs and a ballast already. I've had my LED fog lights from Xenon Depot for a couple months now and really like them, The only issue with these D4S LEDs is the fact that xenon depot does not make this size and I had to get a different brand/ style that has a built in fan which I'm not too fond of. As of right now I really like them, I just need to adjust the beam on them.

Bumper removed. After doing this a couple times already, it comes off really easy.

Three mounting bolts removed from the headlight and it will come loose.

The two different style headlights, on the LED headlight it is adjustable so that you are able to just be being pattern accordingly later on.

This is the 12 V power supply that I soldered my LEDs too.

Unlike the LEDs that come from the Xenon-depot, these have a ballast. Not very fond with the extra box, but it'll do.

I had to grind down one of the bracket mounts and a little bit of the rubber grommet coming out of the box, I position this with 3M double-sided tape.

Hey soldered my power wires to these clips. I will be able to reverse the process if I ever need to.

Once again, I have not adjusted my beam pattern yet. I am very please with the light output of these lights.

Sure has. I love LEDs, instant light, powerful, compact, it's all I use at home. Floodlights, lamps, flashlights, and will be switching to LEDs for my 240gallon aquarium soon

Can you post up a pic on the install of the bulb in the housing and can you use your old headlight bulb cover ?

I was worried about the fitment inside the housing too, it fits, and still retains the turn by steering feature. "All that work". it's less work than changing out a ballast. I'm sure in a couple years, there will be a set of LEDs that don't come with the external box.

I'm not sure what all models have this feature, but when I'm turning here in the neighborhood it's very noticeable that the headlights turn as you turn the steering wheel.

When you get a chance can you take a long shot of the car so others may see the distance the LED outputs.
