Hello Everyone. New to the board, but not new to cars.
My 2007 Lexus GS 450h is my second Lexus, my first was a 2003 IS300-turbo. I've had a lot of cars over the years.
Here are a few of them:

My question, the AVS struts are done... I was wondering if the full set of non-AVS struts for the GS350 would fit. I've searched and it's been done on the ES and rear of some GS. I haven't come across a definite post that confirms all 4 corners would work. Found a full set of KYB struts for less than $350.

Also, the paint is terrible. Anybody have their entire car resprayed?
I'm considering getting the entire car plasti-dipped because there's a new rock chip or stain in the clear coat every time I take this car on the road.

I've already found a lot of useful info on here. I look forward to being part of this group. Thanks

I have no experience on this field but i'm sure it'll fit because a 3GS is still a 3GS i heard KYB its the OEM strut for it... I currently think the suspension set up on the GS350 is too soft it rolls to much for my taste...

Well, the new struts came in. Found my spring compressors and I'm going to attempt to install this weekend.

If they don't fit, I'll have a full set for sale ($350 shipped) for non-avs.

Well, Started the install and 8 hours later and the car rides like it should. Took so long because I took some breaks and went to a couple part stores looking for a pitman arm tool.
I did mess up a ball joint on a front sway end link and will have to go back and install that when it comes in.
Well worth the time and $350 compared to a set of avs struts.

Next up, getting the car repainted and opticoat a couple months after that.

Glad it worked! it should have worked KYB were designed for the 3GS because its the same chassis, unless its not the OEM KYB struts... what is a pitman arm tool? Sucks that u messed up on the ball joint... I'm pretty sure its stuck and would make things worse if you drove it! Show us some pics when u get the respray! should have done a DIY for the struts!

I know it's probably posted in here but what is the widest wheel I'm able to run in the front of the GS I would really like to go 20 x 10 all the way around since I'm awd and like the concave look all around also if I can run 10 in the front at what offset would I have to be at? Thanks in advance for the help guys I don't care if I have to roll or shave fenders also lowered on coilovers. I know vossen has a GS that is 10.5 all around but they don't tell the offsets or if any mods were needed to make them fit

I'm ordering wheels this week so need help fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
