Default is there any easy way to confirm if my rear calipers are locked up

the brakes feel kinda soft for what I'm used to.

but then again I hear this is pretty normal for this car.

my fronts are fine and have a lot of brake pad left.

the rears have a lot of brake pad left but I can't confirm if it's locked up.

I'm pretty sure it's not but can anyone advise me on how I can double check it without having to remove the caliper or having to compress the calipers .

thanks

If they are locked open... it'll be hard to stop the car and the rotors will be ice cold.

If they are locked closed, after a drive your rotors are going to be red hot.

I don't understand how this is such a common issue on this car and Lexus doesn't issue a TSB or some form of repair/correction for it. Whether second hand bought or not, isn't it a safety issue more than anything? The fuel leak sensor recall was recently released, but the brake caliper freezing/locking up or whatever happens has been a constant norm for this car it seems well before this recent recall.

Because it is a tear and wear item, and it takes a caliper to freeze up a long time it isn't a known issue. Average drivers don't even feel the difference they think everything is fine. When I bought my car, both of the rear caliper sliding pins were seized, had 42k miles on it. If that owner was to have it for another 200k miles he wouldn't bother with it.
