Hankook Tires
I need to replace both rear tires. All four of my tires are Hankook Ventus ES H105 XL 225/50R-17. Does the back tires have to match the same design and threads as front tires? These tires are discontinued but I don't want to have to change all 4 tires.
I like to stay with Hankook if possible if not what are other good options?

I have bridgestone insigna SE 200 on my front 225/50/17 and hankook ventus V2 same size... as far as i can tell they're decent but not good in deep snow...Bu then again my threads are almost gone... i feel as if the car feels alitte bit of slip it'll cut off any power... recently my right front bridgestone caught a bubble in it and i'm still drivng with it... I hear a lot of bad stuff from bridgestone... I suggest looking at tirerack.com they have a lot of reviewers n it honestly worth the extra money on good set a tires since its the only thing connecting you to the ground! based off reviews I just the Hankook S1 nobles

Another reason would be because our DOT (department of transportation) don't know how to fix pot holes or something which is ridiculous! every quarter mile you'll see about 1-100 pot holes.

are you asking me? or OP? I've had hankooks so I like to be a loyal fan i wouldn't mind trying michelin or perilli's... but i cant spend a lot of tires right now... totall cost would be $700 with installment, alignment, tire checking if they have a defect... havent bought it yet tho lol

my question open to anyone really. Just want to know why you prefer Hankook, what's so good about it? I never had it or tried it, if it's really good sure I would want to try it.

As i recommened to OP, check out tirerack.com they have ratings on tires and reviews from people who buy them. What tires do you use? I've never experienced racing tires so i'm not entirely sure... I wish other accts would chime in on this... or you could post a new thread and ask !
