GS 350 07 rear brake rotor rust...
So I noticed a couple of weeks ago that my rotors were still rusted after driving it
So now i decided to check the calipers and this doesnt look normal at all
see the pin holder is suppose to be inserted to the top but its not so it broke and apparently its been like that for a while...
some uneven wear on the pads...
replaced the pins and pin holders bought a set of 2 for around $20 on rock auto... I feel like we should have another brake pin holder bracket one on top!
after driving for a while seems like it works! but this pattern looks awfully weird...
Since we're on the topic of brakes... shouldn't this bleeder have a cover...?
SO i've changed all that but my brake pedal is squishy as hell... I guess i actually need to buy new calipers for the rear since they're seized... here's another problem, my front brakes are creaking I have a video and at 0:30 u can hear it as i press on it....

I live in NY so it snows and then the salt trucks come and shoot out salt everywhere, so the snow dont ice.... I think this is typically normal but nothings really rusted except the rotors, the side swipe ... I think we've had the rotors ever since we had the car

Yup you got to grease all the moving parts every so often but all that rust I can see how they are seized. I would replace them but you can possibly clean, replace puns and pin seals and grease but may not be worth the trouble

wow that's some bad rust going on, how many times do you wash your car, you should wash it at least every week in winter to get the salt off. I'm surprised your rear caliper hasn't seized up yet, if your taking it off try to clean it up to prevent it from seizing up later on in your cars life.

amazing how much damage the snow/salt do to you guys up north. A TON of truck sales are made by Northerners down here in Oklahoma because they are "rust free". After seeing those pics...now I understand why.
