Default any info on lexus updating the brake shims ?
I spoke to a local mechanic and he said lexus has a redesigned shim for the 3gs that eliminates all the noise problems that most of us are having.

this is a separate part order and is not included when purchasing new OEM brake pads.

does anyone have any info on this ?

I looked out on Sewells parts site and the shims shown there look like the same part # I have always ordered
