Default Buying parts from Rockauto?

Hey Guys, I was looking for some opinions for buying from Rock Auto, I have recently bought a brake hardware repair kit and it came with everything, brand new. Now i'm just not sure which distributor to buy from since they have distributors for many parts. I'm looking to buy Rotors, distributors are: Centric, Powerstop, beck/arnley , ACDELCO , or Raybestos...
I'm not sure if the sub catagories of economy, performance, or dialy driving really matter... Since they all are around same price...

I would go to tirerack.com and get some Brembo, akebono, or powerstop.

Beck/Arnley and Reybestos are old time American brake part makers and if they make for your car nowadays it ought to be safe to get those although Powerstop might be more up-to-date.

I've bought from rockauto several times and they're a good source BUT be careful that what you want all comes from the same location. I'm saying this because my during first purchase from them, for front brake calipers for a Dodge Dakota, I selected filled Reybestos calipers for each side without paying attention to the fact that the left came from one location and the right from another. It's about what's in stock at what warehouse. I ended up paying for two seperate shipments when shipping both sides from one place would have been quite a bit cheaper.

It was only a matter of something like $11. but it warned me to pay better attention to what was going on when ordering from them.

I see thanks for the info and the heads up! now my only problem now is if they sell the AWD rotors...

just replaced spark plugs yesterday and bought them from Rock Auto.. same brand, part number, gap etc for cheaper than the dealer... next is a few suspension pieces... probably going with ACdelco professional series tie rods... i would go the next step up from the economy line so it would be "professional" or "Supreme" depending on manufacture. but found them a few dollars cheaper on Amazon for the same part.

I probably would think about replacing them now. I'm at almost 74k miles but the car is aging and the plugs were original and pretty bad looking.

Akebono ceramic brake pads, centric rotors. Akebono is oem. Centric are good rotors and low cost. Get the smooth rotors not the drilled or slotted. Get the centric with epoxy paint to keep it from rusting as much
