Cool My 2005 Lexus GS300

Sold my SRT8 and decided to take a break from cars for a while as my fiancé was on maternity and could get away with driving her car on a daily basis. However eventually wanted to get something for over the winter months to get to work and back and also was big enough to transport our new baby girl and give her enough room for all the essentials Saving away at present for something tasty in the summer, probably another 335i coupe

Picked this late 05 Lexus GS300 Sport.

The spec on this car is ridiculous for the money, bang for buck its a fantastic car!

Metallic Black
3.0 V6
69,800 miles from new
Full Lexus Service History

Standard Spec
Full Cream Leather Interior
Electric Heated and Cooled Seats
Electric Windows
Electric and Heated Mirrors
Cruise Control
Dual Climate Control
Xenon Headlights
Headlight Washers
Auto lights
Multi Functional Steering Wheel

Optional Extras
Satellite Navigation
Phone Preparation
Mark Levison Surround Sound
Front and Rear Parking Sensors
Reversing Camera
Rear Electric Blind
Rear Spoiler
18" 5 Spoke Lexus Wheels

Adding a few extras myself over the next few weeks:
• BC Coilovers (Ordered)
• Spacers front and rear (No idea what I can get away with yet, thinking 15mm front and 20mm rear)
• AC Style Front Lip
• GS450h Front Grill

Heres some crappy phone pictures for now

More pictures to follow!

Thanks,

Chris

very clean looking car...and very cool to see a "right-hand driver" version ! (never have seen one before). :thumb up:

By the way...what do "spacers" do exactly??

Gr8fulred - Spacers simply push the wheels out further, essentially giving the wheels a better offset.

sprtdsgnGS - Yea its a May 05 model. Didn't even realise myself this model was available in 05, thought they were all 06+.

Justin2JZ - Thanks a lot mate, yes some subtle changes, id love to change the wheels to something a bit more flashy but have a few modifications to make round the house and also still saving for something a bit newer for late summer or else early winter.

Thanks again guys for the kind comments. Any suggestions on spacer sizing would be great!

Thanks for the kind comments guys!

My Coilovers are nearly hear so excited to see what it looks like a lot lower. Still struggling to decide on what spacer size front and rear. 10mm front might be the best I could get away with.

Update

Finally got the car on the road and managed to get the car serviced and coilovers and spacers fitted.

Going to swap rears to 20mm and put the 15s on the front when I get a set ordered.

Front lip is in from the states, went with an Autocouture front lip in the end. Fitting it this weekend.

Also had the wheels refurbed in a silver shadow.

Here's some pics....

Ok so got my front Autocouture lip fitted ...

Suspensions been tweaked today to give it a more nose down stance. Next up will be 20mm spacers at the rear and move the 15mm spacers to the front... Or else, more than likely, buy some 19" wheels which I think it needs to complete the look.

Also bought an intake for it and I'm also considering removing the rear box to see what that V6 sounds like without being to OTT.

Really clean! I like the look with the stock wheels. It'll look even better with the front spacers
