Default 2010 GS350 AWD vs RWD stock rims

Hi all,

I have searched the nets for answer on this question but cant find a conclusive answer:

Can anyone tell me why the rims of 2008-2012 GS350 AWD are different from a 2WD/RWD ?

Is there a reason AWD's don't have the same rims as the 2WD ? and if so why ?

Thanks is advance

I believe that RWDs may come with staggered tires. All 2006 and newer rims should be interchangeable. Its very critical that you get the overall diameters to match for AWDs model.

I hope that helps.

Nope...they never had a factory staggered setup...

I could be wrong but I thought all AWD came with the 17" wheels and the majority of the RWD cars came with the 18" summer tire package...

Cool, good to know that non- staggered rims/tires didn't come from the factory.

You are probably right about the 17" vs. 18" RWD summer tire package.

Correct, correct, and correct. The 18" wheels were an option for the GS350, although most were ordered with them. They came standard on the GS430/GS460.

Thanks Guys! In that case its safe to assume that RWD factory rims would not fit on an AWD GS then correct ?

They should...like rominl said, not sure why they wouldn't.

I run 18x8 G-spiders on my AWD without issues.
