Default 3rd Gen GS300 2JZ Drift Monster

Dont know all the details on this beast, but its definitely 2jz powered......This may become a common swap for the 3rd Gen GS in the coming years.

Enjoy!!!

It would of been so much easier with 2gs to do the whole conversion, why would someone do it on the 3gs?

Tried to find info on their FB page, only thing that is said a few times during the vid is that it's 507 horse, numbers like that = 2jz for sure.

EDIT; yeah....

<3 it, but I'm biased.

I think the hardest part is to retain all the electronics. I don't see a lot of people turning our 3GS into drift cars. In my opinion it would be a waste not to be able to use all the features that came with the car. If a direct swap was possible where you retain everything, maybe. Other than that, no way.

Well you certainly don't see that everyday.. I wonder how much custom work need to be done to swap everything in... What ever they did looks like its working just fine..

I think there was one in Japan as well they turned a GS460 into a drift monster.

True, but maybe they just liked the 3GS more and didn't care if it cost a bit more? Pretty neat though

How do you get the chrome headlights and grill like that? Paint or aftermarket parts? That car looks like fun!

Its more like a "why not!" situation. Honestly, if I had bought a 3rd gen 300 I wouldn't hesitate to try to attempt a swap, especially with my current look. I love my 430 and the plans I got going for it. I wouldn't 2jz my 430 ,but if enough funds come my way later this year I wouldn't mind buying a 300 and doing this :roll eyes: Time to find a salvaged GS
