Interest in oil catch can DIY install?
After much research on the benefits of adding an oil catch can, I went ahead and installed one to my 06 gs300 AWD. At only 60k miles, my car shows no signs of any of the symptoms for a recall and the recall just expired last month on most of these vehicles.
There has been many articles stating that oil catch cans are basically a must for force induction and direct injection vehicles. So as extra insurance to keep my car healthy and my wallet fat, I added one. It took about an hour to source necessary pipes including Home Depot stops, but overall was pretty easy. Let me know, if there is enough interest I will uninstall and redo w/ picture diy. Or else I won't be wasting my time.
