Introduction of LoveThatV8... My 06 GS430 :D
My first ever thread! Here's my ride, not much to show except itself being lowered on Tanabe DF210 drop springs and cool shoes to go with. I'm not much of a VIP-go-nuts-on-camber-and-bagged type of guy or hardcore JDM fanboy since the younger crowd abuse the scene and wanted to go a different route. I got my wheels from a member at my350z.com as I've had a G35 cpe 6speed manual (fun to drive!) and the dude was 4 hours away from me... Figured to meet him halfway somewhere in Santa Barbara, CA and boom done deal.
He had his wheels tracked so there's many battle scars on the red ring upon closer inspection on the wheel and I didn't care cause I've always wanted to own Volk wheels. Mounted it on my G35 and hit up weekly hit import meets around Northridge, CA and had fun meeting up peeps and seeing sick rides. Six months later my G35 got wrecked on the way to work that same day Paul Walker had passed from his car accident. I was sad l that my ride was wrecked and had to find another car to play with my criteria of 4 doors, V8, manual trans... Only thing that fit was the Audi S4, but didn't like the carbon build up issue and a ugly interior. Then I looked at the Lexus GS, there's no manual trans but I'll deal with the sportshift and I was sold buying this car at Lexus of Mission Viejo, CA. Eversince I've put 10k on the 94k odometer (now 104k) I've had nothing to complain about!!! It's a dream man I'm telling you, and with gas prices at $2.50/gal... The V8 can have all the juice it wants. That's my story guys... Just thought to drop a new thread saying how much I love my ride and how it looks right now.
Volk CE28N Time Attacks
19x9.5 +22 (235/35/19) Toyo T1R
19x10.5 +22 (255/35/19) Toyo T1 Sport
No rub in the rear after shaving it flat. Thanks to Tony "the fender guy" located in Granada Hills, CA.
Thanks to VDMTom and YogiFTLC for answering all my fitment questions.
Factory arms all around, don't think I need Megan camber arms... I like the battle stance and real happy with my set up.

No rub in the front? Doesn't look like you had any front fender work either. I like it, except the red isn't my favorite on the GS. Love my V8 too....especially now that gas is almost free :-)

Thanks man, tried hard using an iPhone 6 plus to take pictures.
No rub in the front, left that alone and was surprise there wasn't any, but thanks man for the support!
Although switching over to lighter forged rims and soft Toyos made the car more responsive. I'm loving it.
That red ring/edge all started from these Time Attack rims (te37/ce28s) and didn't get recognize till later where you see vids out there on how-to-customize rims and painting the edge red. Even boot-legged no name brands have copied em'. But thanks man! The red edge was already painted in by Volks, I didn't do it myself. Haha
I appreciate it and yes it's a good start for anyone to lower and add cool shoes to your ride!
Thanks tmf! All in the process coming up after tax refund kicks in! Will continue to update my thread once parts comes in.
Thank you.
