Angry Damnit!!!

I bought my 09 GS350 three weeks ago from Park Place Lexus. My wife bought Weather Tech floor mats for Christmas and I wrecked it yesterday! Insurance adjuster told me today, from my description, that it's predicted to be a total loss.......

Hopefully no one was seriously injured, its only a car. You can return the mats or sell them at a minimal loss if they are brand new, in the packaging.

If you are really upside down on the car, that sucks.

No need to stress it, the important thing is you're ok and that you had insurance. Cars are disposable and easily replaceable.

I have pictures but need to get them on photo bucket. This was a lesson learned the hard way. I left work early to go buy a set of TSW Nurburgrings that a guy had on Craigslist. He texted me the address where we would be meeting and while typing it into my phone,,,,since the car wouldn't allow me to input it into the navigation, traffic backed up and I wasn't paying attention and rear ended a vehicle. I did look up in time to brake and prevent an even more serious impact but it's tore all to hell none the less. I'll try to get pics up as time permits.... Yes, the mats are still in the package, wrapped in gift wrapping paper, with a big ole bow on it. LOL

^ that's one expensive lesson. I did pull over many times to input address into the navigation. But usually I input them while the car is warming up.

Glad everyone is ok...that's the most important thing.

That's an important lesson to us all...someone could have really been hurt. What sometimes seems like a brief second to us is enough time to cause an accident. I'm guily of doing that as well but I have really stopped especially when other cars are around me.

When I do enter stuff on my phone I try to put it in a location where I don't have to look down....like above the steering wheel.

When I drive my GS I miss out on the DCA on my M37...when I turn it on keeps me from getting too. close to the car in front of me and will come to a complete stop if I'm too slow to brake.

Be safe out there everyone...especially this time of the year...

This is why it is illegal to play around with phones and stuff while driving here in Toronto. Still, people do it because god damn people are really addicted to their phones these days.

Hope the people you rear ended are ok. Your negligence could have killed someone. I can't type on here what my opinion of you is
