2007 GS350 Cruise Control not working
I just noticed the other day that my cruise control stopped working.
The cruise light will come on, but when I try to set it...nothing. The speed just drops off.
Any thoughts? I did some searches but nothing came up.
Thanks in advance

I know it has been a while, but never got a round to doing anything with this.
So, I did all of the above...disconnect and reconnect the battery, checked all of the fuses under the dash and under the hood, verified the brake lights all work and checked the switch under the brake pedal. All checked OK and the cruise control is still not working.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks in advance

No it does not.
I was thinking about something though...
I did the DVD hack on it (grounding the parking brake input and disconnecting the speed sensor from the Navigation unit) and recently updated the Navigation to the latest Maps.
When I put the maps disc into the navigation DVD, the system installed the new firmware that was on the disc.
When I think back, it seems my problem started around the time I installed the new maps software.
Another issue that started happening with the new disc was when I deviated from the route mapped out by the navigation it will not re-calculate the route. I also noticed the navigation maps are a lot more jerky now.
I am wondering if the firmware now has the car looking for the speed input to the navigation differently that is causing these problems...including the cruise control.
Any thoughts?
I am thinking I am going to undo the hack and see if the problem is fixed.
On another note, does anyone know if there is a way to downgrade the navigation firmware? If I put the old disc in it just goes back to the old maps...no change to the firmware.
Thanks in advance...
