Drain and fill is the safest method. I've heard some dealers do flushes and some do a drain and fill....i prefer the drain and fill. I had mine done at 60k and the next one will be in about a year since I've only put about 7k on it over the last 2 years. This time i'll have them drop the pan and change the filter as well.

haha, its fine I'm on the learning boat on cars so i dont screwed over or learn DIYs... planning on resetting the ECU as Pman6 had suggested... havent done so yet cause its cold up here and i dont even know how to reset the ECU...

they say to reset the ECU just unplug the negative terminal on the battery and let it sit for 10 min before putting it back on. then the computer resets and learns how your driving habits are… please chime in if this is correct...

apparently u just have to pull out the ecu fuse for the tranny and leave it like that for a minute or alittle longer (most people did 2 minutes), put back in the fuse and then start it... people say the first time it might not start but the second time it will which they say is normal... They say you dont have to remove the negative terminal which most people wouldnt want to because you lose all your cars memory.
