Default 08 GS350 has noise after CHANGED WITH THE new OEM rotor and brake pads.

I changed my front rotor and brake pad with the oem parts last week.
However, it has noise come out everytime when I touch the brake.
Is it normall? Or does it need times for break down?
Or I did something wrong in installing that cost the noise?
Anyone has this expericence?

Did you clean the rotor well before installing them and use the new shim pads for the the brakes? I've never had that happen with me and im on my 3rd set of rotors and OEM pads nad have never had a noise issue.

I saw the guy use some spray to clean the rotor once.
I changed my rear one before but had no noise issue too.
It's weird.

If you had someone do they work I would definitely take it back and let them hear the noise and look at it.

what noise? squealing ?

I have that on mine when I lightly apply brake. It's probably the shim, but i don't care anymore.

The brake noise serves as a warning to pedestrians

Were they bedded correctly? That might cause a little squealing. Or maybe they to be glazed. If a shop did it then take it back.

What he said. Your brakes are nod bed in correctly. Do that and you will be good provided the install was done properly. Procedures for bedding are all over this site in various places.

I had same problem on my 2008.

Took it back to Lexus dealership after the brake service - they replaced it no questions - something about a defective shim part problem that Lexus was aware of.

Did you order the low dust brake pads? Part number is 04465-30450.

I've heard a lot about the OEM (non low dust) brake pads giving off a lot of dirt/debris. That could be it.

No, they gave me the 0446530500. Is it not the same?

The OEM pads don't suck...they are just aggressive, wear faster, and give off more dust. I have had both with new rotors and can say that the car stopped better to me with the hi dust OEM pads but the dust was almost unbearable. So now I have gone back to the low dust pads and they are a lot easier on the rotors as well.

I agree. That's why I went with the akebono pads. The dust was killing me and they stop the car just fine so it works. I don't want to eat rotors nor do i want to clean wheel dust off daily.
