Congats on the new pick up and welcome to Club Lexus! Looks really nice and clean. If you haven't checked the service records you can do so by going to the Lexus website and going to the owners portal. Once you enter the VIN then you can see what was done and if you have any outstanding recalls. Also, as you are approaching 100k it is highly recommended that you get the transmission serviced.

I own a 2008 GS 350. Great automobile. Had 10K mi when purchased - now has 90K mi. Enjoy.

Thanks for all the info and everything. Im located in San Diego county. A meet up would be great id love to get ideas on tasteful mods. Oh and yes I got an appointment to drop my car off in a little over a week to get the tranny flushed at Kearney mesa Lexus. Quick question is 300 cheap for this service? Seemed like it to me

That seems to be the going rate for a Lexus dealership. Mine misquoted me but I got them to honor the price after they completed the service....lol

The cool part too is that they give you loaner cars like candy even if the service is super easy to work on. They've lended me a new CT Hybrid while my car is being maintained on. Also visit the regional SoCal forum as well, I've done one event there and it was fun. Lol... My wife posted up behind my car at the event.

So lets meet up! Haha. Welcome again!

Yes that's why I can't wait to drop my car off. I told the service advisor I wanted to take the new gs or es out and he said he would look out for me. Good to know about the price seems like the Lexus around here has fair prices for somethings. Hmm Socal forum ill look into it. Ha clean silver. I almost bought a Silver 2007 but it the interior was a little beat up.

I have 90K mi on my GS350 RWD.

Pretty sure tranny flush has never been done.

Is this is good idea at this mileage?

I would....fairly cheap insurance...all the dealers I've talked to are now recommending that you change it at 100k...I did my first one at 60k because it will be a min before I see 100k and I don't believe that it's still good at 100k. If you look at some of the thread on here you will see people starting to have shift quality issues and solenoid issues...as they approach and surpass 100k.
