considering an 07 GS450h...should I??
The hybrid forum has been great and makes me feel VERY confident in making a 2 hour drive. It's an 07, with a bit over 83.5k miles. Asking $16994.
The other thing that seems great, is that this car, per the hybrid forum, owners don't seem to have all of the quirky gripes on this car as they do with the gs350.
So let me have it! Pros, cons, what to look for (I know...THE BATTERY) LOL!How's the price? Worth a two hour drive?
Thanks everyone!

Hey! At least you've had/have the luxury of owning a GS! Im jealous!
But seriously...I know that Lexus has a great reputation for making solid cars, but the 06-08, based off of this forum, ppl seem to have a lot of quirky gripes.
CV axles, battery issues, noisy dash squeeks, brake issues, leaking/rusting exhaust, navigation glitches, then I read something about the alternator is special to Lexus and the "stealership" wants nearly $800 to fix it! Jesus man! I don't know.
Bit when I read up on the hybrid, the only concerns that people seem to have are the replacement of the hybrid battery...and supposedly a lot of Lexus dealerships replace that for free to see on goodwill bc they want to see why it went bad.
