All pros and no cons unless the previous owner didn't maintain it. Before I did the greenlight, my first question was timing belt, they were kind enough to open and inspect the belt. The mechanic took a snapshot and showed it to me... looks good to me, shook hands & smiled allllll the way home. I wanted the V8 option but the 460 was out of my range and settled for a 430. Mannn oh man, love it so much.

460 doesn't have timing belt. It has a chain.

Drive the car and make sure all is well, no weird noises from the motor. Makes sure all 8 gears change well, and most of all, make sure the suspension is tight with nothing loose. Other than that, these cars are pretty solid. Design wise I thing they are the best looking GS. It's a long lasting elegant yet sporty design that will age very gracefully I think.

Good luck

Go for it! Drove mine to work today, chirped the tires a few times
my only surprise after the purchase was the 9-quart oil pan

Pros: Fast as hell, great looking, comfortable, plenty of gadgets (but not TOO many), fast, and fast.

Cons: Rattles in the interior

The car is extremely reliable, and efficient. Over 107k miles and still managed to get great gas mileage on my recent trip to Destin, FL. So, go ahead and pull the trigger. On the side note, can anyone else confirm the engine has a timing chain and not a belt?

Indeed, chains. That was a big part that sold me on the 460 over the 430... Somehow it justified me spending $10,000 more when I said to myself "the 90k service will cost around $1,400 at a Lexus dealer with the belt, and the 460 won't need that."
