I tried doing a search just a bunch of different stuff came up, where is the gas filter on a 3rd gen GS300? andwhen do we need to change it ?

Assuming I understand what you're talking about it is part of the fuel pump assembly which is mounted inside the gas tank on the top. I believe you can access it without dropping the tank by removing the rear seats but don't take my word for it.

it can all be accessed through the lid under the back seat. Very easy job
