My gs 350
Hello.
I am the owner of a 2010 GS350. It is Silver in color, witb 18 inch wheels/Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 245/40-18 tires.
My previous Lexus vehicles were two GS 400'S, both 1999. The first was silver with black leather seats, and the last one was a gold exterior/tan interior.
The first car was totaled on the Coronado bridge in 2004 with 97,000 miles. I still miss that car. I only had it 7 months before the crash. The 90,000 mile service was just done, including timing belt.
My next Lexus was the gold one from June 2004 until June 2013. It had 59,000 miles when I bought it, and when I got rid of it, the car had 283,000 miles. Truly EXCELLENT vehicle.
My current ride is the GS 350. It is silver outside and black inside. It has Navigation, and 6 cylinder engine and 6 speed transmission. I cannot service this transmission like I did the older cars, but it is strong. Nor do I like the 6 cylinder engine. I really wanted the GS 460, but they were too hard to find in good condition. The 6 is noisier even from start up. It is quite strong, and I love the power once moving. I had the recall on the timing chain, and it quieted down somewhat, but nothing like the eerie sound of the V8.I don't know if it will last as long either, but I love the car a lot now.

i have the GS460 and if i put a GS350 badge i think no one else would know. they have almost identical performance numbers and would probably achieve the 460 numbers with added performance upgrades since the 460 doesn't really have any… anyways you'll love the car regardless=)

Michelin Pilot A/S Tires
In my opinion, these are awesome tires. They are smooth and quiet. I have between 5,000 and 10,000 miles because I got my first free balance and tire rotation at DIscount Tire in San Diego at exactly 5,000 miles. There was 10mm on the new tire, and after 5000 miles, it was reading better than 9, and even all the way around. There is no drifting or pull on a straight road. They are better than the Michelin Pilot Super Sports I had when I got the car. They wore out in less than 21,000 miles. They have a 30000 mile warranty and the Sport A/S tire has a 45000 mile warranty. They are also considerably cheaper too. Even on California roads, they are SMOOTH....

My first photos
Here are some photos as requested. The car is awesome on the road. I am getting used to the 6 cylinder engine. Most times I forget it is a 6. The V8 is just quieter all around. This is my baby now, so I am not complaining, lol.

1999 gs 400
I put the LED tail lights on when the original lights in the trunk faded and turned white. I got a warning ticket about that. Even after I tried painting them, they didn't look right. So I bought the new lights before I decided to trade the car. Those lights made the car look like a 2001-2005 GS. Definitely brighter than the originals.

Thanks WARANDCAR, and SEIZE for such nice comments. I am really loving the new car. I always wanted one of tbe newer body style, and the time was finally right, so I bought it. I am hearing that the GS460 is not appreciably faster than the 350, so I didn't really lose anything. I gained a ton of power with the newer engine and the 6 speed transmission. I thought I really NEEDED the 460 to have a great running car, and I don't of course. The old engine was finally beginning to show signs of age, and was slowing down just a tick. When I was soundly beaten from a stop light by a new lighter IS 350, I knew it was time.
The new car feels nice and handles well. I came from 16 inch tires to 18's, so the difference was dramatic.
I will keep everyone posted as changes occur. Changing oil is different with the drop in oil filter like old times. I got my first oil change free, but after that they wanted over 100 bucks at the dealer, so I said, NAH I will PASS. I moved from their conventional Mobil 5000 oil to AMSOIL 5W 30 synthetic, and things run better in my opinion.
