Default All Struts are bad, need recommandations

Hello all,

Just had a local service center checked my 08 gs350 rwd because the steering wheel keeps turning left and right whenever Ibrake or hits a curve while driving, I was told that all four shocks are bad and caused tires worn out and rotors no good too.

I would like to know other OEM shocks, what other good brands I can get?

Thanks

go to the dealer and see what they tell you
i find that very odd that shocked caused all of that. maybe your tires need to be balanced adn your alignment is off. if your shocks are bad you can do a few things yourself. look at your shock yourself and see if its leaking, when shocks are bad (from what ive seen) your car will rock back and forth on bumps and not stop. basically itll be bouncing off the spring. i take it your car is stock and not modified and the likely hook is extremely rare for those to go out unless your 4 wheels in the mud

KYB's from Rockauto is what I put back on my wife's GS350. Use 5% discount code to negate shipping

You need a second opinion. This makes no sense at all.

Sounds like bad tires and bad alignment is causing your issue, and maybe a worn bushing.

I would get a second opinion from say a tire shop that does alignments with the latest hunter alignment rack

could be a million things. i would start by jacking up the car, pushing and pulling on the top of each tire to see if there is any play (ball joints). i would also put on the brake then release it and check all wheels to see if they move and the petal is released. take it and get a 'free alignment check". I cannot imagine that all 4 struts being bad would cause erratic steering when you put on the brakes but stranger things have happened. if you decide to get all r struts amazon has em for a good price with no shipping or tax and free second day delivery if you sign up for prime. if you are going to do the struts get the install kit(bushing) as well.
