Hello guys I'm a long time Lexus owner but new to 3GS, I've searched around but couldn't find an answer. Is it possible to sync my phone book to the car? Thanks here's a pic of my baby

You can't. Only Gen 6 Navi (2010+) has the ability to sync contacts with the iPhone.

You can't, but what you can do is send your phone book on your phone to the car through business card info over bluetooth. I put all my contacts into my car that way.

I'm not sure how the iPhone is done, but you go to your contacts and press the options button and then send as business card. Some phones like my android all I have to do is go to contacts, press the menu button and press "send name card via" and then I just send through Bluetooth since it's already paired

I used an older HTC to send contacts to my '06 GS430. I don't think the iPhone can natively send contacts via Bluetooth. May be able to find an app that allows it, but I was able to do them in bulk via the old HTC.

You're right when I try to share contacts even though I'm connected to Bluetooth it doesn't give me the option to share through Bluetooth, only text or email.

you can't do it with the 06 navi, you have to use another phone that is able to send contact either blakeberry, android, etc... iphone doesn't have that feature to send...

I used my wife's old Droid Charge to sync my contacts. The contacts stay in the car.
I use my iPhone 5S all the time with a fully functional address book in my 2006 GS.
The 06 GS does work, you can do it, and all you need is an old Android phone.

Since I too have an iPhone, I went ahead and purchased an older Blackberry with bluetooth off of eBay for a few bucks. We'll see how this goes.
